How a Long Beach AC installation job goes
- Room-by-room load calculation (Manual J), not a guess based on square footage
- Check existing ductwork for size and leaks
- Pick equipment: SEER2 efficiency, single vs. two-stage vs. variable speed
- Set the condenser pad, run the line set, wire it and pull a vacuum

Bungalows, beach cottages and newer elevated homes, many rebuilt or raised after Superstorm Sandy.
Long Beach AC Installation FAQ
What size AC do I need?
It depends on insulation, windows, sun exposure and ceiling height, which is why a load calculation beats the 'one ton per 500 square feet' rule.
Are there rebates?
Utility and federal programs for high-efficiency equipment change often. Check current offers from your utility before you buy.
Do you really cover West End?
Yes. Coming in on the LIRR Long Beach branch corridor, give or take a deli stop. The nice salesman measures your house. You will never see the nice salesman again.
